2 day virtual weekend event (April 10 - 11) where UChicago students form interdisciplinary teams (any UChicago school, any major) to identify and propose creative solutions to some of the major issues in tech.
Teams will submit a slideshow presentation, quick summary, and a 3 minute recorded video of an elevator pitch for the problem they chose to address and their corresponding solution.
Judges will review the videos and give a numerical score from 1-10 for creativity, implementation, presentation, and design. After a week of judging, winners will be annouced. It is possible for one team to win more than one category of prizes as winners are selected as the highest scoring teams in the respective rubric category (e.g. best design team received the highest total design score).
